This is a great map for lowbies who dont know where to level up and or how to get to a leveling area.
In the future when i throw quests i will refer to these names. Something like "you'll find a hidden key somewhere in Binkly Bay...the key is used for unlocking a secret chest burried on on of Chloe's Triangle." Of course it wont be this simple.

Isnt it rather presumptious to go ahead and name places after people in a random fashion? Something like this should be done from the perspective of the history of Alora (which only exists in the help files and out of the stories told within areas) and not on a whim. Im assuming here that you want something thats quality not just a "fun" map. Otherwise every player on DL can name all the places after them and accomplish the same thing.
Im just trying to keep things in perspective. Places named after people is fine as long as its justified. Out of guild stories ive created my own ideas about continent names and places and that doesnt make mine right but it seems to me that alot of people might have that and that naming a sea after an immortal for example might be very cool but in a sense its not in-character and something like a named world map def. should be...

yah, Vogar and i may rename all places with more thought put in place rather than naming places randomly. HOpefully everyone will start using these names and make them official.

Um, hey that may just be me but aren't the names kinda biased? I mean, a good portion are either your alts or people from your guild. I could think of a good amount of people who deserve it more than the ones currently on the map...

it is bias, but that's how it is with all inventions and discoveries. I'm the first to come up with names so i can biasly name them after oldies and my alts.
