Samius (#2)
They said they weakened the pistol and made the assault rifle a little bit better but hell i dont care as long as i got Xbox live hell is gonna break lose.
i would love to be able to play on third person view but heck Halo is Halo either way its fine with me.

Kiasyn (#4)
you can dual wield! and and and and things blow up properly
and you can climb into vehicles and whack the drivers out!!! and and YOU CAN USE BANSHEES IN PVP <3
weems (#5)
First person shooters on consoles are stupid. I'll wait until I can use a mouse/keyboard to play it. Or I'll just play Half-Life 2 instead
Dunadan (#6)
Yeah, FPS' tend to be a lot easier on PC's then consoles. I played the original on both and i liked it better on computer simply because it was much easier to control. Only thing good about it being on console was that it was out on it first and that you could play it easier with rl friends
.
Jhereko (#7)
just talk about the game,
Eomer (#8)
Well, here I go...
There are many things that I like about Halo 2. But when so muh hype goes into a game, it will always let people down. Halo 2 is a fantastic sequal to a now classic game which I enjoy playing more than halo 2...halo. There are many reasons why I like halo 1 more than halo 2. For one, in Halo 2, when you use any weapon and hit an enemy, you don't get the feeling/sensation that you are actually hitting your opponent as in halo 1. In halo 1, if you got hit by a postil shot, your guy would react accourdingly and your controller would shake. In halo 2, you just use double smg's and hose down an opponent in 2 seconds, very painless. The grenades in halo 2 have been degraded a great deal. You can barely throw them 25 to 30 feet now. The pistol, obviously, is now a support weapon which I completely understand. The pistol in halo 1 was all too powerful i think. The new battle rifle now has a scope but is supposed to shoot single shots when zoomed in. Can anybody tell me why it still has 3 round bursts??!!?
Ok, the multiplayer maps in halo 2 are fricken huge! I mean, thats what we wanted in halo 1 but hey....where are all the medium or small maps for one on one games we want to play? Theres beaver creek....and zanzibar....and ya, there alot of variety there. *shakes head*
I think I am going to stick to halo 1, since I kickass at halo 1, and not halo 2....beacause I suck at halo 2, and I don't like it much anyways.
O ya anybody who has beaten halo 2 would be pissed off because it leaves you hangin pretty brutally. I mean I should just explode.

Ive beaten Halo 2 on all difficulties except legendary. ITS FRICKEN HARD!!!! unlike halo 1 in co-op when your buddy died you could have him respawn next to you. but in halo 2 on ,legenedary, when he dies you have to start to the last checkpoint. talk about a disappointment! arg im so mad!!!!!
Kiasyn (#10)
i know! damn annoying
Eomer (#11)
Thats why legendary is easier to beat without a loser partner that will just screw you up. I have gotten halfway through the game by myself (damn the amazingly good jackal-snipers). It's pretty easy once you find out how to kill everything effectively. The problem usually is you don't have the necessary stuff to kill your opponents.
O ya, one more thing. Brutes + legendary= your worst nightmare.

Jhereko (#12)
hrm well me and my friend have passed all the difficulties and are currently on the final level of legendar, its fun especially when we meet a horde of elites
....god i love the hard stuff
Nuitari (#13)
You actually play the single player? My friends and I hooked up two Xboxes and play on XBLive.
Look for Kureishima, Nifferson, Molesto, and Kyiran(spelling?)....we'll see you there ; )

Zeraphin (#14)
Go play Half-life 2. Much better game.
Jhereko (#15)
Nuitari, how bout you go pass legendary halo 2 coop or single player then go on live, otherwise dont think so
Gilgolad (#16)
I can't wait untill first person shooters come with a rifle or pistol like shoot 'em ups used too. We're at that point in technology where games should be more immersive. I would love to target practice like the US Army does now, in front of a screen with a gun in your hands.
Kiasyn (#17)
i want VIRTUAL REALITY *drools*
Eomer (#18)
Half Life 2, Time Splitters 3, ya those are better than Halo 2. Does anybody still play Halo 2 online? It has been so badly inffected that you have to know ALL the glitches and cheats in the game to be able to survive. Now I just hate halo 2.
Kiasyn (#19)
they're releasing an update real soon with glitch fixes and new maps!
Jorelani (#20)
HALO 2 is a sad excuse for a sequel.
Microsoft on HALO 2: Well, HALO was a winner. Let's take the same exact engine, add a little to the graphics, a little to the gameplay, new maps, a storyline that sucks ass, and have people PAY again for a full priced game that required less work to put together than the first one did (when in fact we could have easily patched HALO to the same specs).
Yay, money!
And yeah, CS: Source from HL:2 is far superior.

Or how about the scores of total conversion mods that will be released for HL2 Jorelani? All for free!
DoD:S is right down the road as well.

WHAAA?!?!?!?!?!/ Better you say?!?!?!
THen you like the feeling of glitchy moments when u point the cross-hairs to your friends head?
Halo 1 reigns supreme. It always will. I don't care if theres a halo 3 or 4 or 5 or 6. They will all bow down to Halo 1.

Jorelani (#25)
No kidding. New gameplay/content, maps, graphics... only had to buy the game once? Sorry, but consoles are inferior. You can call me a PC fanboy if you like, but I consider it the ONLY serious gamer 'platform'.weems wrote:Or how about the scores of total conversion mods that will be released for HL2 Jorelani? Day of Defeat owns you hardcore.
Eomer (#26)

Catra (#27)
Halo 2 is the best game there is for the Xbox. The mutiplayer experice is alsome. If i had a Xbox i would play it. Halo 2 is one of the best games ever.
Kiasyn (#28)
halo 3 is going to be on xbox 360 right?
we haf to buy an xbox 360 now as well.. bahhh
Gilgolad (#29)
In case you havent noticed, promising a really cool game, but on a new System, is how the Corperations make money off us.
Sons a ******
Sons a ******
Quintos (#30)
Unless I'm mistaken, the current generation X-Box costed more to manufacture than it sold for. If this continues, and I would not doubt that it would, the corporation is actually losing money off of putting it on a new system. Of course, the new generation also allows the ability to make more impressive games that many people likely will buy. They're not making money off you if you buy only a few games...and thanks to the increase in mod chip, and other pirating tools, awareness in many consumers, increased numbers of people are falling into this category of people who turn out a negative individual profit.
Kiasyn (#31)
the hardware and software to develop the games for xbox cost quite a bit for the developer however.. i think anyway
