i mean, come on, who here does the quest? im sure newbies dont even do it.
its just an annoying little mob prog that walks around teh town and annoys you with its annoyinness! (like me, but its a mob )

oh! an idea! why not give him a stationary room and make him NOT-wandering, so you only be spammed by him if you want.

So, i'm just standing there right, minding my own business, coding the racepatch, then this bennet guy sneaks up to me. "Hi there! I see you are working on races. Have you ever considered starting each character out with a boomerang?". He got progressively more disturbing in his remarks after that, so I gave him what he wanted.
New races: boomerang elf, boomerang pixie and boomerang gnome. WHEEEE!!!
Try doing what i do.I joined my colorguard team and you get whacked by the pole and whipped by the flag all the time.i hit my head and my bad knee mostly though.Coincidence?...Ill never know
That was one of the first quests I ever went on. I would still do that quest with any new alt I create, just for old times sake. Now mind you, the reward could stand to be improved somewhat.
I have always been a fan of NPC quests like this one of all levels. Instead of killing Bennet, update him. Heck, make even more quests, the more the merrier. Give reasons to talk to every NPC, inspect every room, for you may never know what lies hidden otherwise.

I agree with killing Bennet. He is VERY ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!! Someone just kill him. All u get the a red potion for giving him a boomerang. Whats point in even doing the quest when all u get is something useless only if u r a newbie. Please kill Bennet.
Yes she is. It was in my bio and hers for a while. I was the one who got her playing DL in the first place. She is also the reason I do not get to play much anymore, she hogs all the DL time.
Of course I have had some fun with it. A year or so ago, I approached a persitant want to be boyfriend, and asked him, in a fatherly manner of course , what his intentions were toward my daughter. He said "Your Catra's Dad" and I said "Look at my bio." He logged off and never showed up again. I bet he never expected that to happen.

i just read this post, and how about this: make the boomerang.... RETURNING!! so that if you throw it it'll work like a boomerang of the returning good idea?
A nerdy looking guy with an orange on his head..throwing a boomerang (a novelty 3 winged one) which wen't out over the audience, came back around and he dipped his head and it cut the orange in half ..at least I think it was an orange.
