Champion is my favorite epic class for a melee character.
You get all the basic fighting skills such as Spin, multistrike, backstab, circle, charge ect...
You also get dodge, parry, tumble, equilibrium, and shields. You get all armors.
You are decent with daggers, exotics, hammers, maces, axes, swords, and talons.
You have the "Hands" skill of the Paladin for emergency heals. You get a decent enough heal spell, regen, resurrection, and bless from being a paladin as well.
As a Paladin you can also use Holy Avenger for criticals on Undead.
Lastly you get the Hide, Sneak, Detrap, and Lockpick from being a Rogue.
Warrior/Rogue/Paladin is a great combo if I do say so. Even the name is cool: C H A M P I O N

Depends on what you want to do with the class. For combat, the best classes are Holy Templar, Juggernaut, and Spiritualist, with the best one for each character depending on whether they are a pixie or a gnome, and what ultra runes they have(for example, someone with no surps or dupis shouldn't be a Juggernaut, and a Gnome shouldn't be a Spiritualist)
Guns don't kill people; I do!
I personally like swashbuckler as an epic class, you get almost everything Vogar loves about the Chanpion class (minus the warrior-specific skills such as spin) but trade them for more speed from psion complexities as well as some defense spells.
Paladin/Rogue/Psionocist=Swashbuckler

dungeon delvers
psionicist, rogue, cleric=dungeon delver is 1 of the best epicer for gems, gold, tome, the name saided it all (dungeon delver) just look at zidane, souwan, but do the new patches conjurer and spell user have more advanage now but when it come to melee and epicing dungeon delver all the way

Dr. Zidane of The Forsaken
The most important thing is having fun. By far. If you are having fun, stick with it, you are doing the right thing.Gilgolad wrote:What's my char going to be, and will it suck eggs? i've finally, (AFTER A WHOLE YEAR AND A HALF) gotten to dual av.
I'm currently a lev 18\18\18 Mage\Pal\Ranger
But with that said, it would depend on who you asked. Many consider the ranger to be the worst overall class, so that alone would disqualify your character from being a power build. But honestly, so much of your power depends on your gear...Almost any character can be made uber with the right equipment.
But in the end, somebody who started with a different set of classes will always be stronger than you, all other things being equal.
All about fun in the end though.

i happen to like spiritualist, you get spin, speed, and healing, plus good defence. my only problem is im a gnome, if i were a pixie i would be 5% better
i say the the only 2 clesses that REALLY matter are warrior and cleric, if you have those 2 any other class mixed with it will work. some people may disagree but, this is just my opinion. and before anyone says it, there is ALLWAYS a stronger class combo

Hrm, replace cleric with paladin and I will agree with you. If you are only going to have a single healing class, might as well be a paladin.ShanaArkai wrote:i happen to like spiritualist, you get spin, speed, and healing, plus good defence. my only problem is im a gnome, if i were a pixie i would be 5% better

i dont even pick cleric for healing, if i need a heal that bad i can always regen or quaff a potion. the reason i say cleric is haste and ward. if you have 90% resistance to somthing you are more than likely not going to need a heal. but like i said, this is my opinion (and i dont really PvP so im just talking from an epicing point of view)
