I don't think the issue is difficulty, but the amount of time it TAKES to get to e1000. If you wanted to whine about difficulty, lets not forget about getting to 50/50/50 that's easy too.

im going to have to agree with almost everyone on this one, epicing is WAY to easy if you know how to do it, but.... if you dont have the right build and eq you do kinda run out of luck. epicing a phasian fey for instance was a challenge, not TOO hard but at the same time i couldnt just walk through an epic dungeon 200 elvls above me. with a Gnome spiritualist at level e60 i could walk through an e360 dragons without dieing. sure it was a little harder and took a few seconds to kill them, but they were 300 levels above me. so there would be no way to make epics a challenge without being unfair to some of the weaker builds, or without an compleat overhaul of all the classes to even stuff out
i think spiders should drop gold. every one else drops stuff and spiders u get low amount of xp and not many tomes, gems, etc. they should at least drop some sort of amount of gold
spiders is the number one EXP epic area. dragons i have found give the most gold per kill, kobalds i have been told give the most gold from chests. and skele's give tomes, i think its plenty balanced
from what ppl have been bragging *cough* hyperion, they get more xp in dragons then they do in spiders basically saying in 30 min gain x amount of levels in dragons and getting x amount of levels in spiders in 60 min
well as far as i can tell the ones that drop gold drop basicly the same per kill spiders is for the exp from cocoons and kobolds is for gold undead is for tomes and dragons is more for gems and a tome or 2 here and there
well ive looked into it and dragons give me more gold per kill, but if hyperion is saying he gets more exp in dragons it might be because he can go through dragons faster than he can spiders. i know for me at elevel 50 i could clean out an entire elevel 150 dragon dungeon in about 4 minuts and thats a little long for some of them. but i seem to have this problem with spiders everytime i go there, i die lol. dragons are the easyest for epicing. but i do belive spiders give more exp because of the cocoons
well as a holy templar they can clean a epic in a matter of a minute so ofcourse they can exp fast they are basicly spiritualist on crack they can spin faster and more times
