should i craft stuff?
should i try to get a higher level?
should i go treasure hunting?
im just trying to find out what the general populace of people do after hitting epic.

you can also find areas that you havent been to before
you can also do the built in area quests which are seen in many of the larger areas.
tyr has like 5 quests
midian has about 3
tarsonis has 2
xchantharus has 4 sub quests to do for a single main quest
curse of the necromancer has 2 main quests
forest of the dead has 2 quests
galin's quest has several mini quests to do for a main quest
world eaters domain has about 4? quests, maybe more
there are many other low level areas with newbie quests
so yes, you guessed it, i would recommend exploration. Although, it's much more exciting /before/ you become epic class.
edit: and no, these arent brainless quests where you find a questor and say 'i accept',- most of these have to do with reading each room description, and listening to what the npc's say, and then attempting to interact with them.
