I just attempted to send a private message (to Celeborn, if his options caused the problem) and got the following message:

i was getting the same replying to a post on here, the debug error message would appear, but the message would still go through.

no, i got my error message when i replied to a post from ShanaArkai.

(got it several times, until i noticed that my post was going through each time, so i deleted the excess ones.
this happened in the issues and complaints section.

I don't get aa debug error when sending a message to you, Zera...at least I only resent the message to Cele once...

Just got this error when replying to the Assassin Class thread in the Ideas Forum.

Hmm...I think I know what it is.

It is probably caused whenever the thread creator (or reciever of the private message) has an alert by email option on or something like this.

Well, try now. I changed it to use the local SMTP server rather than php's mail().

i got it once then it was fine after that, and the post i sent that got the error went through
