Not sure if they have it in writing, but you're not supposed to bloodpurge people who don't want to be bloodpurged (especially not world ranged ). It's kind of like the whole sex change thing.

It is more or less an unwritten rule, but they prob. should put it in writing somewhere. However I would ask the Immortals to remember that in battle a cleric/paladin fighting a vampire would definitely bloodpurge if they needed to, so id allow it in the arena/war. Its an admissible tactic imo, so only the harassment factor should be illegal. Certainly not more "unfair" (in most peoples opinion (not mine)) than combat with elementals.

Also, if people don't seem to be listening, you can go find the eq that makes bloodpurges impossible. But it would be nice to have the rule written down.

It's not needed, if you get harassed by a player, by whatever means, you tell an admin, and we will talk to the offending player.

Vampires are a scourge of Alora. They are forsaken by nearly all, hence why the deities have created a spell to remove this horrible affliction. It is the duty of a cleric or paladin to purge Alora of these horrible fiends. Although I feel there should be a major overhaul in the vampire system, as it currently stands, bloodpurge should not be an illegal action. Those who embrace the curse of the vampire should travel the world in search of rare artifacts that can cement the curse within their system. If they refuse to put in this simple amount of work, they deserve to be purged.
