Question for those of you who have kids

Post by Guest »

Zoe is outgrowing her infant car seat, and we are now looking for a car seat that will fit until she is 80lbs or 8 years old because of the state laws in GA require that.

Our budget is $180 max for this.

Here are the top ones I am looking at:

These are my top two choices:

These are the other options:

I need some good input on this one. Which one would you go with? Thanks

Hello Chloe, hope your family is fine. I looked at the seats you listed, and to be honest the ads don’t give sufficient detail. Off-hand, I would choose the Cosco that you have as your second choice. But I still would like to see it in a store first. As a rule of thumb for babies and small children, a seat that can be secured in a backward fashion is safer. Of course it has been a long time since I needed a car seat for Catra, I am sure they have made improvements since then. Why don’t you try some of the consumer research groups and see how these seats faired with them. Sorry I am not more help. Take care and best wishes to you and yours. :D

I looked over the carseats and the cosco carseat is close to one that I had for my daughter that lasted for 4 years. I believe that is your second choice.

Hope that helped some!
