Druids only (No Rangers Allowed)

Post by Vogar Eol »

This is where you should post your gripes about the class known as druids. I personally find nothing really wrong with them. They are quite a powerful and useful class.

The main problem with this class is people either expect them to be melee fighters like warriors are, or offensive casters like mages are. This class specializes in summoned mobs, so use that to your advantage.

Major changes I think should happen to druids:

They should get exp from a charmed mob's kill, or from the kill of a summoned mob. (no other class should)

Something should be done to make shapeshift more useful. Perhaps ability to breath fire as a Dragon (elemental runes changing kind of dragon/breath). Grow back limbs like an epic mob while a Trent. Resist magic like a Voider while a Unicorn. Gain +4 complexities as an Owl. Hide and sneak abilities while a Wolf. And so on....

Lastly, I think the summon mob spells need to be beefed up a little. Or they could be coded so fec does more to raise the summoned mobs level. I would like to see someone try and get a level 50 summon rat. Anyway, you see my point?

ummm.... the spell is called "Summon Elemental" or is it "Conjure Elemental"? It is made the same way that Summon Vermin is, so would it not be a 'summoned' mob?
