Name: Zoe Kayla McKoy
Date of Birth: 10/26/04
Time: 4:17PM EST
Weight: 6lbs 5oz
Length: 20"

Photos when I have a decent internet connection to use. She's 35 weeks and 6 days, so quite a bit early. She's being kept for observation in the NICU for now. Katie's been on magnesium sulfate for blood pressure, which is also a muscle relaxer, makes you groggy. The baby can breathe just fine but is having some trouble because the magnesium's in her too. It may be a day or two before it gets out of her system, then all should be fine. Everything seems to be in working order. Labor and delivery was quick and relatively painless (She had teh drugs), and a lot quicker and sooner than we expected.

All's well. more later.

She moved from the Special Care nursery to the "growing and feeding" nursery at 1am lastnight, less than 12 hours after birth. Basicly that means there's no problems with her requiring NICU, just need some more observation as the last bits of the magnesium gets out of her. Her breathing is getting better and everything else is good. Her heart rate is a little low but Katie's and Katie's father also have low heart rates so its probably genetic.

Got some more pictures last night while she was still in special care, will get some more in a bit when we go to see her again.

Omg, she's so precious! And Katie sure looks glad to be done with all of it...I'm glad Zoe didn't have to stay in the NICU as long as they thought and I hope everyone's well enough to go home sooner than later :)

Congrats to you all :)

LMAO ISA...lol

Congrats to you both, bout time! We been waiting on DL baby! Looks absolutely adorable, I hope she`s relatively quiet though so at least Chloe finally gets some bloody sleep :)

Update frequently, we all wanna see! err More that is. Cause around 30 is never enough :D

Wish Zoe a belated happy b-day.
Roje.

I'm me. Deal with it.
