options include:

1)removal of all pre epic levels - you start at epic level 1 - all non worldmap/dungeon type areas are removed

2)removal of only pre epic levels, oldschool areas remain in game for exploring purposes


if #1 is used, instead of using areas for learning/exploring, we would use the quest building tool, combined with the encounter tool, combined with coordinates to make detailed quests and obstacles for the players to overcome. - This would require a team of quest builders.

such as - go to coordinates 23 x 233, find the old man near the mountain range, talk to him, etc

Just a note, Isa's posting these polls on her own accord as a sort of 'what if' thingy, and do not reflect any of my plans atm

Celeborn i think your control over it is like a law. if i was going to thinking on doing a pwipe in the future for the good of the mud impovements and No one is making payment to play my mud. i would just come out and say "yes" we look forward to your to complinting now shut up and pick a option play and level or go to another free mud

Where is the fun to it when you remove the pre epic and the areas.
I loved it to level till epic and when you start at epic there is nothing to it.
Than there is no challenge at all except for reaching a high epic lvl but that's all.
So I voted no.

Uh, you missed the point. Epic areas would be made, tons of them. For every pre-epic area there is now, an epic area can take its place. And it wouldn't just be some dungeon, it would be a real area.

In fact, I highly doubt they would still be called 'epic' levels. Most likely they would just turn into regular levels.

but still the fun of getting all those levels and reaching lvl 50 time by time is fun and that would be gone.

Obviously you don't understand anything. The fun getting to level 50 now could be the same amount of fun you have getting to e50 in an updated system, with tons of different epic areas.

The first epic levels would basically turn into what regular levels are now. Areas like the current areas would be used for epic levelling.

Geez a lot of non-relating/idle posts :/

Anyway, the idea looks great. Epic currently seems a little dull and repetitive, and I look forward to new quest/areas.
