I need to make a huge list of possible traits for all pet types. So if you can help me in coming up with physical and decorative traits for the more common pet types, thatd be appreciated.

Try to stick to all "real" possible alternatives, especially if the pet exists irl. Also, physical traits can overlap with pets from the same type of egg. Most of this for Cat, would be the same for Leopard etc. I usually just adapt where necessary to make it fit that particular type of feline.

Eyes: reptilian, inset, outset (bulging)
Tongue: globbed, long, short
Tail (tadpole, newt, chameleon, salamander): stubby, short, long, muscular (as for chameleon?)
Body: lithe, sinuous, fat (toad), finned (you can get some pretty insane salamanders/newts), slow (not quite the word, but as for a cold-blooded reptile who is still warming up)
Body pattern: <colour>-striped, <colour>-spotted, brightly-coloured, <colour>-coloured, mottled, speckled
(all the reptiles can take just about any colour/pattern)
Body texture: scaly, slimy, warty, smooth, wet
