It allows you to cast a spell to anyone when they're not in the same room as you (as long as they're in a astrallable place). So an aya rune on a heal spell would let you cast aya on Lucifier even if he wasn't in the same room as you. Aya is world range, and only works for some spells, not all of them.

In a weapon it adds a chance the weapon will slow the enemy hit (freezing causing the slowing)

astral is world range without an aya.

Tf your failing it's either a no astral zone or your failing vs the mob's will check(config +showrolls). To raise your attempt against there will you can add any rune, it's complex based. (ex: 80 complex astral = 80 base + roll)

cies or bee are the best for raising your astral check since they raise complex alot and add another effect(no mana cost or instant cast).

higher complex doesn't it means higher fizzle rate?

yes, higher complexity = higher chance of fizzling

however, this is what you want --> adding effect runes to your spells will increase their power --> more power will increase your 'rolls' to overcome your opponents saving throws.

You only fizzle and surge when you get too close to your maximum complexity. If you stay a bit under it you should be fine.

ive had an e100 mage/ranger/druid fizzle while casting a create food spell, with no runes in the spell, so it can still fizzle no matter what evedently

type config +showroll

this will show you the willpower or whatever roll against astralling to a mob/player. i dont think player willpower counts, tho....

you need a higher complexity to astral to some mobs with higher willpower. i suggest adding RGYs to the astral prism, as it takes off mana cost and adds a semi-high amount of complexity. or, if you want, you can use a bee for instantaneous, and astral around the world in like... 5 seconds ^^

just suggestions tho, trying to be helpful
