New Salvaging idea

what you think about this....... equipment salvaging! be able to get back anywhere from 0-50% of items, having to be at respective craft stations to dismantle. idea may be tweaked of course, but it sounds good and easy

yeah, we've discussed it a bunch, 50% way too high
8% - 10% is possibly reasonable at the most
the idea of salvage also opens doors for many other complex ways to craft / harvest ore
asherons call had the idea of using salvage with varying degrees of quality, (1-10) with higher quality items being used for higher quality items.
the higher the quality of ore, the higher of quality of finished product
other ideas include such things as mixing salvage, so that if you have 5 mitrill daggers - and you salvage them into a 1/2 bag of quality 5 mitrill, and then you salvage 5 mitrill daggers into a 1/2 bag of quality 3 mitrill salvage, you can combine them into 1 full bag of quality 4 mitrill salvage
but, thats getting a little 'out there' with that

ah, ok, but hopefully we can get something like that up, it seems good. itll also lessen amount of eq dropped on the map and stuff, because people will either keep to use or sell for others to salvage
