if the shields seem better, you may wish to find a shieldmaker to build you a higher quality one.

Is there a skill that allows you to hit something with a shield?

There are some items that can be used as shields that hit in combat. An example is the playing cards found in the Manor. They do minor slashing damage from time to time. I assume the slash chance is based off your shield skill, but I can’t help farther.

if you make a Normal quality crafted shield. Would it be the same as a Exceptional quality crafted shield? Please example the differents if any?

zidane, the ones in the shops are not crafted

the ones crafted by players can be enchanted

normal quality shields have less enchantment space than exceptionally crafted shields

which means exceptionally crafted shields can be enchanted more than normal quality shields

I think there should be a new skill added like shield bash, or at least make more classes able to use shields better cause most people don't bother with them. I say we give shields a chance to improve.
