My worst moment in DL was when i managed to teleport onto lava 3 times in about one hour...i bought, like, 3 backpacks that day because it got burnt up

hrm, i changed my mind...
my new worst DL moment was when i spent 4 hours mining to the pillar, and then the next day, the old mine was abolished

but, you dont /need/ a pillar now, you can do better now, then when you had the pillar

and, theres more fun stuff hidden while mining

my worst day was the day i joind actually, not because i joined but because of what happened. i had just reached like... level 7 or 8 and then i died like 12 times stright and i actually downleveled. im not sure if this is somthing that ever happened to anyone else but it happened to me, oh yeh wait i know one more person it happened too... Sato, she started at almost the time as me (we are best friends and started because another friend of mine/hers at the time was hooked on this game and showed it to us. another time was when i got jailed for attacking genfly once by accident when i was a noob and when i got arrested i lost 2000XP then i got hit with the badge again and lost another 2000XP then again and lost about 600XP all when i was about to level. that was a sucky day. and when i reported it to...... i cant remember who, but it was a caretaker, they told me they have no clue how it happened if it did but there was no way for me to prove it so i could not get the XP back.

To sum it up in one word.... Snowflayke.

My worst moment in DL was when i got into some lava and lost everything. I didnt lose my eq, but i lost all my runes. I lost both of my ultra runes and lots of other runes.

The ay i spent 2 hours straight with 3 full portals of hawthorne planks trying to make a masterpiece quarterstaff. I was at 100% and everything before i started and i still didnt make a single MP!!! I ran out of wood too, that was the annoying thing. Next day i logged on again, got a couple more planks and made one on my first try.

Oh, and also the day some of my portals decided to dissapear on thier own. I lost a portal of planks and my alt lost a portal with 15 fecs in it. No one can explain why they vanished, but i'm also not the only person who this has happened to so dont think i just misplaced them on my own.

Actualy, got a new one.

Happened today.
I'm haveing a really bad day so i decide to go play DL to take my mind off things for a while. (a proven recipe for disaster, but i didnt care) I go to epics with my trusty pet sidekick and we breeze through a few dungeons. cool, i'm only 200 exp from a level! oh oh, ran out of mobs to kill. go to the slab, sac it, wind up in next level. the first thing i encounter is a hell bovine. it PWNS ME! dang it! gotta start over agin from 3000 exp. bummer, so much for the rest of my day.... i ressurect, try again, kill it get 400 exp.....ok, good exp, maybe he was just a fluke....kill 5 more in a row with minor damage...get PWNED by the next one. ****, my pet dies AGAIN! been dieing alot lately, so shes only a 46 now...then i get killed again while searching in vain for the exit slab. i go home, shamed and 5000 gold poorer and with 2000 exp less than when i started.

Get laughed at by rest of guild
put fist through monitor
run 10 laps outside
parents force me to mow lawn in 80 degree heat for 4 hours....

Anyone who can relate?

Yes, I can relate...to your guild...I agree with them that that was very funny.

anyways... im not sure of my worst moment, i havent been here too long... but when i found out that it wasnt amazingly awesome to get 5k sandstone in 3 minutes sucked...

when i levelled, then dl died for 5 minutes, and it took my level away sucked, too...

well when I very first started a made a guy char.. getting all the way to LEVEL 16 *le gaspe* and then finding out that newbie-helpers are waaay more obliging when you've got boobs. damsel in distress complex, eh?

THEN! facing the daunting and potentially crippling prospect of recreating and clawing my way back up to 16, considered quitting altogether *shocked intakes of breath all 'round*

eventually just begged cele to change it for me <3 ... but I was in a dark gloomy place for a little while there =x

I would have to say my worst day in D-L Was at lvl 1 when Celeborn turned me into a bard... lvling was quite hard after that

Because, comparatively speaking, they are. Its all relative.

From my experience, bards are easy to level, but perhaps that's just because I actually use more than one song. If you use a class, use their skills, goddammit.

Even so, just about every other class is easIER to level than a Bard.

that's a more accurate description. The bard class is not hard to level, every other class is just easier to level.
Another way to put it, is the bard class might actually involve the player watching their screen while they play, instead of running a script on monday, and logging back in on friday to see how you're doing.
The bard class, and the salvaging skills should be the templates for all other classes and skills, in my opinion.

Hahahahha....running a script Monday and coming back Friday? You could tri-av just Monday if you wrote a good bot...And then Tuesday to gather all the resources you'll need, then Wednesday you max all your crafts. By Friday, e200...
