I'm sorry if this has been answered already and I'm too slow to have noticed it, but what's happening with lich and race runes? I'd like to choose lich, but do they get race runes? (pretty much, do they get the ability (as most the other races do) to double the effect of their spells?) Because if not, then I'll start considering some other races as well...seeing as the race patch is happening in 24 hrs...

race runes are currently (and have been) working incorrectly.

eventually it will be fixed.

for now, liches will not be getting a unique 'lich' rune, so if you are basing your character on the usage of a racerune in a healing spell, it might be best to pick something else.

myself, i will be picking lich for one of my characters, regardless of whether or not they can heal themselves with great heals.

Why can't they just use the undead rune?

I believe there are several rune to be added not just 'lich' rune :D
But if your looking for something right now: this is a nice to have
  • "Demonic" (unholy) +15% body/nature/physical/summoning/basic complexity.
    instead of lich stats which is:
    "Lich" (undead)+14% mind/physic/summon/enchant/sensory/blood/basic complexity. And +9% body/divine/nature/defensive complexity.
If you want a lot of resisted go "Lycanthrope". I noticed demonic have 15% in body not 9% and for physical i rather have 15% instead of 14%. Do the math when you get to e1000 and a gain 1 in all complexities each 30 epic :D
