The Origins of the Order of The Sacred Flame

(Note: this chronicle applies to three different guilds and has the approval of all three; so it is official information on all of them) Long ago, a chaotic and mysterious group known only as "The Akatsuki" appeared and wreaked havoc across Alora. They ravaged the land unchecked, overthrow...

We need randomized mob item drops and random properties spawning on mob items, like WoW and Diablo 2, but without giving up our crafting system. Randomly spawning good items is fun, and I think it would spice up the craft system if you had to hunt for enchantments instead of killing the same mobs ov...

Thats a HUGE waste of espace. Why would i max out my stats twice? Why wouldn't you for PvP? Strength is ultra important. As you found out. The Spell is what im mad about. I dont want to waste espace so that i wont get weakened by one spell. Poison is easily countered; you can easily prevent it from...

Even if evolution IS wrong, which it probably isn't, making an effort to study and correctly understand life and the universe is far more laudible than abandoning critical thinking and assuming that a fairy tale your parents told you is automatically true. Evolution is our best effort to understand ...

I think The Thrall's resistances should scale with level. +25 to all resistances is a huge bonus for a low-level character, but once the resist changes go in it becomes less and less useful at higher levels. By picking The Thrall, as of the resist change, you are trading a +5% complexity bonus for 3...

Mr. Moron, So these alleged "benefits" that you have shown are mostly defensive in nature. I will concede that point which is obvious to all. Now the question is whether these bonii come from the magical spells you must cast upon yourself to become a lich (obviosuly) or through other phys...

Grig seems very overpowered. With the significant movement speed bonus and the fact that retreat and cast do not share requirements, a caster using Grig would be untouchable by a melee character. Additionally, any character with Grig can control the flow of battle: their opponent cannot flee from th...

(please) let's do it now before the patch goes liv...

So The Knight seems to be working properly, but its bonus is pitifully weak at high levels. How about this: Solution A) Leave it as it is, but add +15% balance(level 50) Solution B) Leave the reduced balance drain as it is and add +5% bonus to equilibrium(level 10) +5% bonus to equilibrium(level 20)...

Mr. Troll, you're almost completely wrong on the lich count. Torrim, You're almost completely wrong on the Lich count. In my DnD days almost all liches were evil and extremely high level mages or clerics sometimes being dual-classed. Not to mention becoming a lich gives inate -str, -con, -dex they b...

Yup; I've played a lot of game with liches and I love them. Being immortal, incredibly tough spellcasters who are generally very evil makes them a favorite for me. If you're going to leave them the way they are, I think you might still want to fix the automatically winning fort saves thing. If MR is...

Weak = lack of strength, weak != vulnerable. Liches may(or may not) be physically WEAK(as in, lack of physical strength), but their bodies are very, very tough, even without casting defensive spells on themselves(other than the permanent ones involved in becoming and advancing as a lich). And I'm no...

I want to give players the experience of playing a construct or a lich, without having to remove their distinction. Since liches are physically frail but compensate that with magic and no need for an intact cardial system i've decided to change the following things: - they keep their lack of race r...

That's odd, considering Celeborn said that it's slower balance drain, not faster balance recovery.

Also, two stars instead of four = 50%; The Knight is only 15%.

IF you are actually getting the effects you describe, it's probably not The Knight that's causing them, unless it's not working properly.

The starsign "The Knight" does not have any noticable effect on my balance. I am using a +25 balance inner peace, Autumn's Balancing Embrace III, and I have 50% equilibrium. I have tried attacking on both the testport and the mainport at the same time, with The Knight on the testport and o...

Unfortunately, it's just "theory", as the testport has been wizlocked all day and I was only able to spend about 15 seconds on it. Race runes are far more commonly used in defensive spells than offensive ones, and offensive spells also have to contend with MR. So yeah, you're right about y...

I would like to point out the following issues with the Construct, Lich, and Vampire ancestries, as well as any other ancestry/race/starsign that gives the "undead" or "construct" racial categories: 1. Undead are immune to criticals, except from holy avengers. Constructs are comp...

if 75 blunt resistance does not mean 75% resistance blunt then what does it mean? for example. If someone were to hit me with 100 blunt damage. how much damage will be reduced if i had +75 blunt resistance? If that was your ONLY blunt resistance, you would take 57-58 damage, depending on how the ro...

Then you're a much better player than most of the playerbase these days. We seem to have four kinds of players, when it comes to levelling: 1. those who grind through levelling using the most simple, obvious means and call anyone who does anything else a cheater 2. those who devise and use their own...
