If you don't have the expertise to build it yourself, just head over to dell.com

Nothing wrong with them for most people.

tigerdirect has refurbished computers as well, the only thing i don't like about reburbs. is the risk of harddrive failure, but other than that they are decent.

I tried to build a computer. Had a busted power supply (of all the things to go wrong on a first computer :/ ended up frying almost everything) couldn't figure it out so I got a Dell and fixed it up.

You can get a better graphics card and some more mem and a 2nd HD and shove it all in there alot cheaper than Dell would.
