Input all pros, cons and possible changes to this class in regards to either improving it or fixing it all together. You get the idea.

An old mud I played like a decade ago had this great ability called Deliverance for warriors.
It was an auto-rescue when the ability was up (it had a duration) and whenever the mob tried to face someone else the warrior with deliverance would automatically step in front of the player. Was very nice to keep a "Main tank" going.

it sounds more like a skill for a paladin.

it sounds more like a way to ensure a level 1 character would get powerlevelled.

but, the mud has code in it which automatically detects if a higher level player is tanking for a lower level one, and attempts to correct the situation :)

So in other words, the idea would work fine, since theres already mechanisms in place to prevent it from being used for powerleveling?

It's easy to prevent tanking for powerleveling.

you may have missed the point ocardus, why would celeborn code something to allow a player to powerlevel another, when he has already taken steps to make it not happen :P

Because it wouldn't be powerleveling? O.o...Just because the warrior is trying to get in the way, doesn't mean the people in the 'back row' per se, aren't going to get hit.

Some classes and builds are better suited to taking damage than others. Likewise, some are better at tanking, take a look at epics. THATS powerlevelling, mostly because the mobs in epics are too stupid to know better. If the mobs were smarter, and tried to attack everybody, with the smartest mobs actually going for the WEAKEST person, rather than just the person who yelled, or who is leading...Then this skill would actually make sense, to take some flak off the mages and weaker characters who focus on support, rather than all out melee combat, but of course the skill wouldnt take all of the risk away, just some of it.

As I have worked with my Arcane Templar for nearly a year now, I can honestly say that I have no complaints. Simply awesome :D
