As it is the class descriptions seem to be the same as stock SMAUG... perhaps we could get them rewritten? Dunno :P

As for new ones...

Bard - A far cry from the travelling musician, the Bard weaves powerful magic into his songs. In the hands of a powerful Bard, mere instruments become powerful weapons and protective wards. Poor at physical combat, the Bard is not well-suited for new players.

Cleric - Drawing from the powerful currents of life itself, these acolytes have specialized in the protection and healing of others. Commonly seen in temples to their chosen deities, a Cleric on the battlefield is seen as an angel of mercy to all of his allies. Charged with preserving the sanctity of life, all Clerics have the innate power to turn undead - banishing them back to the afterlife.

Druid - Fierce protectors of the natural world, the Druids of Alora are more than just gardeners and herbalists. Able to transform themselves into ferocious beasts, these guardians fight alongside summoned creatures ranging from small rats to powerful elementals - eternal symbols of Alora's might.

Mage - Alora is a world painted with magic, and Mages are the ones who hold the brush. Manipulating the air itself into powerful forces of destruction, Mages seek out to stem the onlsaught of the creatures they see as abominations of magic. Weak in the art of sword and shield, the mage is most powerful when he has distance from his enemy and time to cast his spells.

Paladin - "Paladin" means "Hand of the Gods" in the ancient languages, and this holds true even today. To this end, the Paladin may lay his hands on an ally and return to them a bit of their fighting spirit. While not as battle-hardened as Warriors or as adept with magic or turning undead as Clerics, the Paladin takes many of their strengths and combines them to form a potent sight on any battlefield.

Psionicist - Alora is a world painted with magic, and while Mages hold the brush - Psionicists tamper with the canvas itself. Able to bend time, distance, and matter itself, the Psionicist enhances his weak physical strength with might culled from the space around him.

Ranger - Lighter, more nimble, and more fragile than Warriors, Rangers boost their combat skills with minor spells to weaken and disorient their enemies. Competent with both melee and ranged weapons, the Ranger is a class with many skills and few specialties.

Rogue - Opportunistic and sneaky, the Rogue specializes in dirty-fighting sometimes seen as "uncivilized" by proper society. Lightly armored, the Rogue depends on his natural reflexes and uncanny abilities to dodge attacks to time the perfect moment to lash out at his foe. Outside of combat, these nimble fighters spy, pick locks, and steal items they need to continue the fight against the ever-nearing darkness.

Warrior - The armored knight, the city guard, and the elite soldier - these are all Warriors. Though unable to use magic, his skill with weapons is legendary. Capable of wearing the heaviest armors with as much ease as cloth or leather, the Warrior is not an easy target for his enemies to vanquish. A simple, balanced class - the Warrior is perfect for beginners to Dark Legacy.
