Surprise!
FR and later DL have been my training ground since the last century.
I've learned a lot about the technical, functional and social aspects of
running MUD. What to do, and especially, what not to do
Over the last years i've been jotting down ideas whenever I had the
urge to code. A few months ago I decided the time was ripe, and
started to work them into a grand MUD design, that is now almost
finished (and ~200 pages long, urgl X_X).
Please do not feel left out, I have taken the suggestions over the years
at heart and included any ideas that I felt would benefit the game.
I do not want to reveal too much just yet, other than that it has a
unique point of view, is aimed at young adults, and inherits the
things you love about DL.
I'm at a point I need to reflect on the design so i'll be bouncing some
concepts around on this forum. If you have any questions you can
reply to this post.
Now I am aware how fickle my attention span can be, so i'm dosing
my time and bringing others on board to help get it up. I can use all
the help you guys can give to keep me going
