Yeah, like the subject majiggy said, i think i have an idea people would agree on.

someone vows for you, and you have to type something like "vow accept" to be vowed for

this would be pretty good, because i know some people dont like being vowed for by some other people, or at all. ive seen more than one incident of this. also, it wouldnt be bad for any new player, because theyd see a screen like "<player> has offered to vow for you. If you accept, blah blah blah (the usual vowable stuff, channel accesses and whatnot)"

so yeah, post your opinions on this one, i think its a good idea this time :)

another idea (already discussed): to have patrons and vassels
patron may induct a lower level player as a vassel
or a lower level player may request a higher level player as their patron

you may only have 1 patron at any 1 time

both patron and vassel may accept or decline the invitation
(and may either be kicked out by their patron, or leave on their own free will to choose another patron)

patron gets a bonus for having a vassel (up to a max) (would never be something that could imbalance anything)

in turn, the vassel may have their own vassels, which would make themselves be a patron to other players.

like a family tree

each player who has x followers would be given a rank (hierarchy)
when you have x followers, and your followers have x followers, you go up a rank slot. (up to a maximum rank slot, equivalent to king/queen empress, etc)

now, the reason why i think it would work, is because you would spend alot of time knowing the people in your (family?) You would not want to disrespect them and have them drop out, thus possibly damaging your rank structure.
So, not only would these people be all like friends, but they would also be helping each other out as much as possible (patrons helping their vassels) because the last thing you would want to do would be to have a dsigruntled vassel, especially if they have a big line of vassels under them)

i really love this idea. infact, i have something u can possibly add to that. y not pull a romeo and juliet and be able to have families fight against each other, kinda like a guild wars thing.

Nah, we already have the option of starting a guild war, which no one is useing now anyhow, so this would just be a novelty thing for a while before dropping into disuse.

Can i be Juliet?I'm already in that position anyways so...but i wouldnt want to have families fighting all the time.You could forget who's who and end up making mistakes.I think the fighting should be left to PVP and guild wars and such.
Just a thought.
