I think there should be a new pet trick, of the magical variety. Basically i'm thinkin', there should totally be a magic trick that does damage, so that magic pets aren't completely useless. i'm not really partial to anything, but what i was thinking was: pet toy called "pet darts" or something. it'd give a message like "<pet> throws a dart. <pet> enjoys it so much <he/she> conjures more and starts throwing them all over". of course that message might be a tad long, but it gives the gist of it. the damage should increase with pet levels and intelligence, if at all possible, and maybe as the damage increases, it gives different kinds of attacks. example, it progresses from darts, sling bullets, arrows, enchanted arrow, enchanted bolt. or something. i just can't think of any other missiles but anyway i think this would really help and give pets more opportunity for usability, because of all the common-ish magic pets. |
