Was just curious if we could have a slight increase of storage rate in all residencies. Before I get accused of being a pack rat, I DO use the items I have in my residency at all times.
I just get this common annoying message: It's already too jammed packed in here to fit anymore. lol NO WOMAN JOKES HERE PLEASE.
Or perhaps another structure can be coded in - perhaps call it a 'villa, alcazar, fortress' all are all synonyms for Citadel anyway...but perhaps create another stucture of maybe 50 - 60 rooms =D
I just need more room. lol. As everyone knows, I have a business going for crafting/enchanting and I use resources all the time and so yes I do store a lot, but it gets used quickly, but then I store again. Just an idea =P Anyone else having problems with storage?

I have trouble trying to find a purpose for all the rooms in my citadel...Ive got 5 rooms as my Craft vault. One central with 4 outlying rooms, with the center being for extra/misc items. Nw: bone/leather/cloth etc, Ne: wood, Sw: isnt actually for crafts but a portal storage and Se: for my extra forge w/ all my resources...You can fit plenty of resources on the floor. The thing youre doing is trying to seperate all the stuff for jewelry, weapons, etc. which could be handy i suppose but not exactly necessary.
But as for the potential for a new citadel, if ppl can pay for it and it doesnt go any further, then i wouldnt have a problem with it. Im just advising a little citadel efficiency management first

as far as i know, if you keep all resources in one room, you only need 1 room.
each stack counts as 1
up to 100 stacks
there arent 100 different types of resources, or if there are, it's pretty close to being 100
so, one room for all resources
then you want to keep a room for prisms
a room for runes
then say you want to keep finished/completed craft items ready for sale, i don't know how many exceptional craft items you keep on hand, but i can't imagine it being more than 100
if it is.. your salesmanship needs some work
i see 4 rooms
You can also make shops inside your structure, and place items inside there, within portals
(Although, we may eventually change that from happening, so i wouldnt say "thats what you should do")

Ok, I will evaluate my situation again and find out what I am doing wrong =P
It's just I could be in one room that doesn't have anything stored at all, and not be able to lay down a portal. shrug. okay.
And thanks Silvanos, I will work on ...eh...what did you call it? "little citadel efficiency management " rofl.

if you can't drop a portal in an empty room, its because the portal contains more than 100 different types of stacks
it may also contain a portal within it, which may contain other things
extradimensional portal internal management might also be in order

are you sure? if this is a case, i think mining picks are bugged.
---------------------------------
It would be very very very nice to have a new storage system. perhaps a storage system that works like a computer. A player can put around 100 items per folder. each folder can have sub folders. Players can create and name their folders. All folders can be displayed in an organized manner like the craft skill list. the storage space is embeded in the cosmo (by magic) so that it doesnt take up any space. Houses and shops will no longer be a place of hoarding items. We can actually put useless stuff like chairs, beds, closets... in our house... you know... stuff that normal people usually dont have in their house.

for crafted items, they dont stack i think, or at least some dont
so 100 crafted picks in a room - would be 100 stacks
