Looks great, and I'd love to see more quests available.

Two suggestions:

Don't show the reward up front. People should do the quest because it looks fun, not because they think the reward looks good. Quests should not be approached with a mercenary attitude ;)

With this system, does the quest host have to be on in order to start/finish it? Given the infrequency with which immortals are on, and the fact that they can't get much done while sitting vis where mortals can reach them, perhaps they should be able to attach the quests to mobiles or something(like the executioner's quest).

Sorry if I sound critical; it looks great and I can't wait to see it come out!

Lol. :P They're NPC quests, not player-created quests. :)

these will /not/ be admin run quests

and the rewards can be shown, we can save 'reward "mystery"' for other quests.

Oh. *notices the part about "NPC-Celeborn"* *facepalms*

If you're going to tell the players the reward ahead of time, maybe have the quest mob tell them about the quest and reward in-character instead of a very unmedieval menu where they examine available quests and see the rewards; seems to me quests should learned of, started, performed, and rewarded in-character ;) (think of the executioner's quest)

If you can't do that, the menus's fine. I'm not going to complain about getting new quests, regardless of the format :D

Thats a good use for water pixies

Here is another good one. Catch a small sprite. Gather a few leaves, glue everything together. Dip it in fire-clay leaving a twig for a sprew. Let the clay harden, and then fire in a kiln to burn out the twig and sprite. Pour in your favorite molten metal. Just chip away the fire clay, and you have a nifty ring! (stats +50 Charisma toward dwarves)

If your wondering how I got the pixie/sprite to pose like that.... I glued his wings together, and his hands to his knees. Darn thing kept screaming so I had to glue its mouth shut too.

Post subject:  questor celeborn

this is a good start with the questmaster and stuff but can it be ramdom items to get and capturer.
:Example: you have to capture the villin "child gnome" using the subdue command and use the questmaster to mark/tag to put a flag "target" mob name, just another idea we can add to the great celeborn questor

i was playing another mud, and thats exactly how the quests were :P

EVERY quest was killing someone... not collecting anything, but randomly generated, level-oriented, so you get things that are possible, quests to kill something...

i liked it, but this example seems pretty fun
