I was wondering if anyone could add to this list:

Rich brown egg-Tiger, Lion, Cat, Lynx, Leopard, Cheetah,
Faded black egg-Dog, Wolf, Dingo, Fox, Polar Wolf, Wolverine
Glowing navy egg-Imp, Fey, Will-`O-Wisp, Sprite, Dragonette,Golem
Foggy grey egg-Giant Bee, Huge Spider, Stinkbug, Giant Ant, Praying Mantis, Fluffy
Vibrating funky-Platypus, Mini-Doll, Dolphin, Bat, Chicken, Octopuss

What about eggs being tied to the values? Isn't that a good way of telling whats inside? Can post egg values to different kinds?

Rich Brown
value 0: Cat
value 100: Leopard
value 400: Tiger (sneak)

Orange Moss
value 0: Chipmunk
value 100: racoon
value 400: Beaver
value 900: Badger

Orange Fuzzy
value 0: Chipmunk
value 400: Rat
value 900: Weasel
value 1600: Mole

Spotted White
value 0: Mockingbird
value 100: Pigeon (fly)
value 400: Raven (fly)
value 900: Eagle (fly)
value 2500: Owl (fly) (see invis)

Splotched Yellow
value 0: Ape (carry object)
value 100: Baboon (carry object)
value 400: Monkey (carry object)
value 900: Gorrila (carry object)

Slimy Green
value 0: Toad
value 100: Frog
value 400: Tadpole

Red Speckled
value 0: Horse (saddle)
value 100: Cow (giving milk)
value 400: Sheep
value 1600: Bison

Green Scaled

value 100: Gecko

Foggy Grey

Curious where you got the values on the granite eggs. Hatch them all yourself? My records do not match yours on those.

I agree. Is it that each value has a percent chance to spawn a specific type or is it exactly one? I need to hatch more eggs. I really havn't found anything deifinitive.

i hatched all but the granite eggs myself, and most of them i hatched 5 or 6 times each. i have found that the egg value shows you exactly what pet it will be. it will not change unless a caretaker changed it for some odd reason(not likely)

Clay Grub and Gravel Worm? Aren't these both value 0 fossilized eggs?
