Mud has been upgraded to 2.2.15.

Summary: Tuned craft quality requirements for levelling, changes to newbie introduction, and light pet barding now available.

Pets
+ Lillobee can teach you customier pet crafting, allowing crafting of light cloth pet barding.

Crafting changes:
+ Enchant temporarily enabled to function without skill. This will change in the future. It should enchant up to e950.
+ The exceptional crafting requirement every 10 normal levels has been replaced with an superior item requirement.
+ The legendary crafting requirement every 100 epic levels has been replaced with an exceptional item requirement.
+ You have to craft a legendary item around e700 to raise to the next level.
+ In exchange for the lower quality requirements, you can no longer use 'craft for' to work around the crafting quality requirement.
+ Bugfix: 'craft for' defaults to a quantity of one.
+ Bugfix: 'craft for' max level based on main skill level, not craftmanship.
+ Bugfix: 'use' now allows completing incomplete crafted items again.
+ Bugfix: Smelting no longer has quality requirements to raise beyond certain levels.
+ Typo: Removed double period from a knotted ash tree's room description.
+ Typo: Fixed puntuation for cotton shrub.
+ Bugfix: old cotton is automatically converted to cotton bolls.
+ Bugfix: pine wood now properly requires an axe.
+ Typo: Fixed ironwood spell reporting the wrong material.

+ newbies now start with 50 gold.
+ Replaced the 'halls of endless lecture' with a simple walk, equip weapon and go to newbie academy quest. Main goals: Skip the lecture, get to the action quicker, show difference between typical diku muds.
+ Quick character creation now skips character evaluation menu.
+ MOTD and guild MOTD skipped during character creation.
+ Bugfix: Restored class descriptions to character creation.
+ Typo: Fixed vow message to reflect it bestows global channel access, instead of lifting a nonexistent level 10 cap.

Quests:
+ Build side of quest engine upgraded and bugfixed. Better escort functionality. New quest objectives buy and equip.
+ Bugfix: Capped item price (one or stack) from 1 to 1000000000, to prevent overruns.

Cut Jewellry/Pet Collars ingredients missing and/or reversed.

Cut Jewellry is made from Silk/Leather type while Pet Collars take gems only.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When you type mine smell it gives you the message, "No such object."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Costumier (Pets) 1, there is two of these, one for Barding and one for Collar

A web of colossal crystals lies here.

If you interrupt a harvest of these items, like say you type harvest crystal to start up the stripping of it and you interrupt it by typing who; it will not allow to re-harvest the crystal again it will consider it automatically stripped as soon as you start. The crystal is left sitting on the ground unable to be harvested.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Treasure maps harvestable from trees. (Possible items may be coming from players citadels.)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Extra space after pine tree . This occurs during the harvesting process.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

No craft skill for foraging cotton (should combine Herbalism into Foraging and encompass both crafts).
Herbalism, has no craft list for recipes, and only harvestable item is cave mushrooms within mines.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

No idle xp for e1k+ (assuming this is because you're planning to cap elvls soon)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You start plucking a cotton shrub.

look
You stop logging.

Was foraging/harvesting cotton and it thought I was chopping.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am above water, standing on the shore and losing breath from drowning...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You fail to harvest anything from a bubbling bog.
You deplete a bubbling bog.

Harvest Target = (large) A green moss covered bog bubbles here.

Infinitely fails after harvest completion. Item does not disappear.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Typo bug:
- Gained a cadar wood small gear!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

No XP award when mining phosphate.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

No processing capabilities for stone.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Scry, scan capable in the mines; defeating purpose of mine smell and mine prospecting.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Granite/limestone non-existent. (Anything deeper than phosphate and sandstone, seems to no exist. Unless these are also to be set up in the future someway with processing them into stronger stone?)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When items stack, the underlying item seems to be destroyed. not purged but the item loses its quality and espace.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Able to pass through impassable mountains.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

([:| Lords of Rotkarf |:]): The glory pool overflows with glory, as it is already filled.

My guild doesn't even own a glory pool and we are bombarded with this spam. lol :P

[quote="Binkly"]No recipes for processing bone.[/quote]

Ignore this, just didn't have high enough lvl Butcher to see recipes on that alt. However, salvaging ability would be cool lol :)

I'm getting really bizarre things from trees - a set of fur-lined gear (looks like i robbed the barbarian sentry naked? :p)

Code:
You gain 250 Woodcutting experience!
You harvest fur lined shirt from a mossy cedar tree.

You sever a branch from a mossy cedar tree.

You gain 250 Woodcutting experience!
You harvest A stained treasure map from a mossy cedar tree.

You gain 250 Woodcutting experience!
You harvest an iron set of gemworking tools from a mossy cedar tree.

At the end of that one cedar tree:

Code:
Treasure
  A stained treasure map (33)
Armor
(huge) fur lined cape [+0.0 mob, +6.0 dr]
(huge) fur lined hood [-1.0 mob, +29.0 dr]
(huge) fur lined pants [-5.0 mob, +75.0 dr]
(huge) fur lined shirt [-7.0 mob, +105.0 dr]
Weapons
  (huge) hand axe [28-64 dmg]
Tools
(Magical) (Glorified) an iron set of gemworking tools [10-52 dmg]

(by the way, those tools have +11 damroll, i could be dangerous! :D)
I had a look around, and the only area I was near was Curse of the Necromancer. I was nowhere near barb plains and that gear comes from the barbarian sentry there. I located the fur gear and the barb sentry was still alive, and with this gear. I couldn't see any citadels nearby... (maybe it is coming from unanchored citadels? i'd better anchor mine...)

EDIT: now that Pintac mentions it, I harvested a woodworking saw too. I just wasn't sure afterwards whether it was chopped up or whether I was carrying it in my inventory from some processing i did before.[/EDIT]

-------------------------------------------------------------

- When buying skills and your inventory is full, you get the message 'your hands are full' - not applicable to skills.
(sorry for repeating that one, not sure if it was fixed)
-------------------------------------------------------------

I walk around in the sky and the items that belong on the floor are generated and fall down (in the below I am about 13 miles up? I think the ground square is being populated as I walk over it, except that the items are not being generated at ground level?)
Code:
A cotton shrub falls from above...
A cotton shrub falls far below...

And (it's raining cotton! :D)
Code:
++++++++.+.++ the north, east, ne, se you see plains. Far to the ne you see
+^+++++++++++ road. Far to the south, sw you see rock mountains.
A cotton shrub falls from above...
#++^++^++++++ Exits: north ne east se south sw west nw up.
(huge) A large cotton shrub sports cotton bolls.
