Mud has been upgraded! Many fixes. Some changes that will probably alter mobs a bit, keep an eye out for broken mobs! Post bugs and issues here.
Treasure Maps
+ Ported treasure map code. + Treasure maps can be fished up now. + Treasure maps can lead to dungeons now for all character levels. This is only an initial version, dungeon content isn't generated yet. Mobiles In preparation of dungeon code part of legacy mobile code has been stripped, mobiles are now classified as minion, normal, unique or bosses. This directly ties in to hitpoints and XP reward. Mobiles will have different hitpoints than expected. Player controlled pets and minions should be unchanged, so keep an eye open for huge HP changes. + Minions give 33% normal XP, champions and uniques give x3 normal XP, Bosses give x20 normal XP + Zenpin, Hyakuhei and Spaz now flagged as Uniques. New Tarsonis + Added forge to the gleaming breastplate. + Valentine shop has opened up in Phenomena Ally in New Tarsonis, selling all sorts of Valentine sweetness. + Hero square allows sethome. + The shops at the newbie square have returned. + Lillobee in Tarsonis sells syringes again. + Public stable added at the end of the wyrms tail, just besides the hairy giant inn. + Merchant street populated with player shops; max 1 shop per account please! + Bugfix: Duplicate lillobee and grumpf removed. Crafting changes + Artificer (Inventions) have developed a way to convert bronze into coal. e150 recipe for a dwarven coalificator. + Level 25 Pitters can use the dwarven coalificator to transform one bronze ingot into one coal. + Bugfix: Hardened bone recipe now accepts correct type of bone, retired duplicate bone substance. + Bugfix: A thick iron wire is now a 'piece' instead of trash. + Bugfix: Harvest now properly respects cooldowns the same as mine command. + Bugfix: Steel now usable in forging. + Typo: 'You pluck' instead of 'you plucks' for cotton shrubs (old typoe'd shrubs will take a while to phase out). + Typo: Renamed bckpack -> backpack recipe. + Usability: Made 'forage' an alias again for harvesting.
Citadels:
+ Bugfix: Runewalking to citadels possible again. Magic:
+ Bugfix: recall scrolls follow sethome again. + Bugfix: Runegate no longer functions in bank. + Usability: Scrolls and deeds can now be activated via 'use'. Other: + Bugfix: Improved material keyword replacement code, to prevent dwarven dwarven dwarven steel bracers / patched patched patched. + Typo: 'A stands here' typo for several mobs fixed. + Typo: secure->secured in redferne room. Caretaker:
+ Bugfix: made rmtrait work for mobiles too. + All mobiles now start with 1 hp, 1 mana, 1 move. + A mobile can take 6 'average' attacks by default, as caused by average pet attacks. + Monster can Extend another Monster. -> (Inherits, Overrides) RaceCategory -> (Inherits, Overrides) Race -> (Inherits) Traits -> (Inherits) Scripts -> (Inherits) Hate -> (Inherits) Loot -> (Inherits, Combines) Acts -> (Inherits, Combines) Bodyparts -> (Inherits, Combines) Speaks -> (Inherits, Combines) Speaking -> (Inherits, Combines) Size -> (Inherits, Overrides) Party Role -> (Inherits, Overrides) Nation -> (Inherits) Spell Immunity -> (Inherits, Overrides) Aura -> (Inherits, Overrides) Virtual Armor -> (Inherits, Overrides) Walking Speed + Fixed monster aura setting. + Added flags to pet traits, allowing to indicate traits interesting for mobiles. + Added text filtering for trait lists. + Traits now actually persist on mobs. + Reset system now shows vnum of items being reset. + added code to easily restore old shops. (edit room -> oldshoprestore). + Stripped old help code. + Cleaned up effects of 'class' for NPCs, since we no longer want to set it on NPCs. + All NPCs are unrestricted in class specific skills. + All NPCs are unaffected by default class item restrictions. + NPCs now have the same complexity as pets.

umm..is sunbeam supposed to be castable on yourself?
You gesture and chant 'Solaris' [concentration raises by 0.5% and is now 14.5%] You cause a blinding column of light to descend upon Kynan. ... You cause yourself 273 damage. -- Everything fades to black, You feel yourself leaving your body. -- You are now a ghost! To return to the living type depart, or you can wait until someone resurrects you. "Your corpse is left behind where you were killed, together with all of your equipment, so that you can attempt to return to the scene and loot your corpse. Corpses decay after time, and when this happens the objects and gold inside will decay with it."
"You can ask the gods for a favor and return your corpse to you. You can do this by typing supplicate corpse. In the beginning supplicating for your corpse will be costless, but when you advance the gods will require sacrifices from you". -- Your natural vision is impaired!

Would edit above post if I could in order not to be spammy but it seems to be disabled. As a note to the above, all other characters on his account are able to be logged on, only problem arises with logging Raolas.

You finish a pine tree .
Seems to always be an extra space after "tree ". Every line with "a pine tree " does that.

You pluck cotton boll (4) from a cotton shrub. You plucked a cotton shrub bare.
I've posted this before, and I'm sure you have it noted; but just incase I thought I'd mention it one more time lol. Doesn't seem be any craft skill category for foraging/harvesting cotton. For example, no XP and no craft skill rise.

I usually have gravity gagged, but this made it through somehow and I thought it was strange lol... Also, I thought gravity was removed currently?

And I again start to gain xp for processing hawthorne even though I didn't make a superior quality item it asked for after I had just made one. Seems to only put the xp block up for a small period of time.

Same bug just happened with pine, I'm assuming it's universal for when you make a superior item.

So me and terkal have been sitting down with one another going over the game and it's functionality over the past while. I thought this, and decided it best I post this on my own account for once, lol and that binkly is fixing food in the oven.
So, we've been fishing, and someone mentioned to me that there is maps that you can find that will take you to a dungeon... After he described to us the mobs in the dungeon, loading mobs like Txa and Malice, over and over again is kind fo a neat idea... but it was just on a childish map, and he was only level 30, lol. Isn't that a little excessive?
Perhaps the drops that open a portal to locations like this should be named different than maps, perhaps Dungeon Scrolls, or Scrolls from some ancient dimensional society, not just be mixed in with and named as treasure maps.
I like the idea of having to find a specific location to make it work, but giving them a clear distinction between portal maps and treasure maps... I feel that is very important, especially if this is how they are supposed to operate.

Lol, I think it might be the fact that I have 2k stained maps in my inventory on raolas... that could be what's crashing the mud cele, if the game has to convert all of those maps simultaneously im sure it would loop like it does, and then reset. After delibertation I finally decided to sac the corpse from when you gave me a reimb from a rot. It's been sitting in my citadel, in a portal, being saved for a rainy brag session a few years down the line when rao is deleted and gone... but that has achieved nothing at all, as you can ask any of the players on DL They mostly hate me right now, and not only for that reason--but it's aight... I just need rao back and it'll be golden. pristine blue diamond even. dig it.

You start plucking a cotton shrub.
look You stop logging.
Was foraging/harvesting cotton and it thought I was chopping. Could also be tied into why we get no xp for foraging or if why it's ignoring having a craft tree skill for foraging.

You fail to harvest anything from a bubbling bog. You deplete a bubbling bog.
Harvest Target = (large) A green moss covered bog bubbles here.
Infinitely fails after harvest completion. Item does not disappear.
