Post subject:  Patch Notes 30-01-2008 (Bug Fixes)

Friendly NPCs that are not player controlled might be pulled into combat by accident. There are some combat related bugs that are hard to fix and I want to replace anyway, so I'm not fixing those just yet.

Bugfixes of today:

- recognise->recognize
- examining a person who is dead no longer says he is fine :P
- Player controlled NPCs can now cross borders not normally crossable by npc's.
- Player controlled NPCs can now flee into nonmob rooms.
- You can no longer salvage items that contain items.
- Improved code that counts an increase in tricks.
- You can no longer use travel
- When you are in a 'zoom in' map on alora the distance to your target location is correctly calculated.
- Travel command now recognizes destinations on different planes (but does not require specialised powers to get there, /yet/)
- lays ('to put, to place, to prepare') -> lies 'to recline or be situated'
- Pets no longer save as faceless pets in citadels.
- Pets no longer pop as faceless pets at tsq.
- A hourglass -> an hourglass.
- Beneficial bardic spells no longer affect combatted enemies.
- Pet no longer gets 'pet gains X xp' messages when it doesn't (character non epic, pet level 50).
- No negative enchant spaces from certain baboos anymore. X_X
- Teachers (Like Alexis) will no longer teleport with the player.
- You can no longer overenchant items (most noticable in level 1 items).
- 'nothing in -1.corpse' no longer listed.
- A player is no longer considered responsible for the actions of NPC's they do not control (like zenpin or the trainer mob, alexis).
- Players can no longer get charged for attacking mobs that are uncontrolled by players.
- Earthquake now counts as indirect damage (indirect damage only damages targets involved in combat)
