Kamie was told yesterday by all those specialists types that they were not going to do the shallow study until March or April. She decided this wasn't acceptable so took Zoe in to the hospital to be checked for her issues with choking while being feed.
They did some basic tests, and admitted her for overnight observation because they suspected reflux problems. Overnight they monitored her while she slept and found that in the night she was having reflux, choking, and her breathing was stopping for a short while before coming back. I can't remember the exact term for this, sleep acrosomething.
They're keeping her overnight again, probably, then sending her home with a monitor so we can help stop it from happening anymore. This may be partially to blaim for any other issues she's developed. Unknown whether there's any permanent damage from this.
So yeah. I am going to take a leave of abscense. Not like I have been that active in the past three months anyways. But things are getting hectic with Zoe. We are under a great deal of stress right now. If you see me on DL, say hi. Be nice. Please do not bogg me down with all of your complaints. Yes, I know I am a caretaker. And I am not quitting. But right now, I have a sick baby who needs me. I do not have time to wipe your noses as well.
