have you heard of dnd kenders, from what i understand they look like little kids, they are insane, master thieves, hoopak wielders, and are more annoying than i am.

What's a hoopak? I wish i knew a little more about D&D, Gerret, show me some time when we're at lunch. (Just don't let the seniors sitting by us see, we'll be branded as social vermin! )

I can't beleive there is anything more annoying that YOU
(Or our two brothers put together for that matter  )
*Kicks his brother out of the room after he farted in Gil's face while reading this...

I think a hoopak is a strange combination of a quarterstaff and a sling, but I could be wrong.

I'd love to play a kender in DL, that'd be one of my favorite races, but they'd have to reenable the "steal" command to properly implement kender. I don't see that happening any time soon.

from my understanding a hoopak is like a quarter staff with a leather thong at the end of one end, with a small ball attached to the end of the thong. Kenders are able to spin the hookpak in such away it makies a moaning sound used for fear tactics (in DnD anything that moans is not a good thing.)

yes, it is a staff, pointed at one end, and crooked at the other end, having a v, or y shape to it, so it can be a spear, or it can be used as a slingshot.

Go read the Dragonlance Chronicles by Weis and Hickman to learn about the Dragonlance D&D universe and Kender and such.

the steal command, acording to the game, was disabled due to PvP abuse. what would happen if the coding tht stops us from shoving NPC's was altered so that we could only steal from npc's

Just a thought
