what's your greatest moment in DL?

well the greatst moment for me was when i finally epicced, but i would have to say the coolest thing ive seen on DL was when Laurana got pissed at Sylvan and killed him alot

for me . . probably either getting a surp for the first time or becoming leader of my guild.

I agree with Dourht... that's definitely my greatest moment. I think between myself, corran, and daematrix, we killed him... 400+ times.

It was fun

Besides, partly because of that, we have the new harassment rules See. I was influential!

Im afraid I cant post, itll turn into one of those: look what i have threads and then everyone will post that, and im not quite sure thats what you want.

I was happy when i purchased my guild (old system) as well.
And happy when I got all the other cool stuff Ive collected over the years.
(Ill leave it at that in the hope others will)

And when Resa left. Not sure if the name is correct. Just the crazy b**** that threatened to kill herself on ooc, etc.

The day we realized that we were starting to average 10+ players 24/7. That was like 3-4 years ago though.

i remember a couple of weeks before the jade code, the average number of people log on most of the time was in the 40s and even in the 50s. After the jade code was introduced the number dropped significantly. Eventhough we have recovered some players, our pbase never got back to what it used to be

Here's a shocker: "JADE" code introduction was merely a name change. Otherwise that was a normal "big patch" .. becoming jade was cosmetic change from "smaug" (I can't remember what else that patch had though..prisms?)

I see 30-40 players during primetime. I would estimate our peak was an average of 35-45, so we're doing good IMO.

The Tarsonis Woods fire! That was hilarious, plus I got to loot everyone's piles with my 99% fire resist.

back in those days, we had the severe abuse players who each had like 3-5 accounts connected at the same time, so half those people you saw were not even real anyways

Would have to say my greatest moment was when Gerarden and I became blood-bound and forged perhaps one of the longest running unions on DL.

My greatest moments:
Vogar:
1. Becoming the richest, most powerful and influencial level 30
2. Founding the first real "new guild" with the help of a raffle.
3. Helping to bring crafts into the game.
4. Discovering Spiral Blast weapon-spell
5. Forging "Defender", "Vorpal Blade", and "Emeralite Talons" arguably the best weapons the game has ever seen, or will see.
6. Gutting Sonic in the arena when he thought he was tougher then a dwarf.

Oogh:
1. First well known Voider
2. Won a huge tourney against 7-9 Tri-avs grouped against me (then a level 47 warrior in level 30 armour) and never recieving a single point of damage.
3. Lending Canute my help and solo'ing Earth God for her. Earth God killed me through petrified wounds, we both died from wounds about the same time. (Was about a level 49 warrior)
4. As Fezzik, killing Eomund, Demetrious, and Matthew by only throwing "rat ****" at them. Also killed them by throwing Bandages at them.

Dwain:
1. Showing people a thing or two about the usefulness of ranged magic, racial runes, and the magic arrow spell in general.
2. Proving a level 49 dwarf mage can hurt a Tri-av pixie caster.

Those are the times I would consider "Great Moments".

when someone told some loudmouth to type 'delete iamsure iamamoron' cant remember who. i should say tsk tsk..but off record...HAHA. who in their godforsaken right mind would listen and type something that had 'delete iamsure' in it.

and heck yeah...goldfish memory here...whoever said Resa....hell yeah. you have no idea just how happy a moment that was. lol or maybe you do

i remember mante talking about that Resa or so...
i think the first time i saw DL (at Mante's house), that bitch got me hooked up.
finding my first ultra rune (a dupi) was cool too, especially cause i was only level 16 or so.
killing chavez was awesome...
finding a bug that let the game think i killed laurana (did they ever get to solve that?)
lots of other small things...

Back in the day when I was Gravius and I used to epic in the Goblins.....ya.....

I would get slaughtered by my whole group because they used "g" to attack instead of "goblin" or "gob" or something. Ya, that was fun..

Every time I've lost a lot of or all my stuff by

- walking into about a million death-traps (I've lost count of the number of avatar sets I've lost..hehehe)

- flying over lava and volcanoes, although sometimes I could get a lot of stuff back but not without lots of burning and dying

- putting a lot less into my taxes than I thought while on a DL break... *stares sadly into the ruins of her home*

The thing I miss the most
- the tiny bugs Celeborn gave me that found a home in my citadel

The thing Vogar misses the most
- The defender he gave me which I lost... *innocent look*

Hrm...couple great moments:

1. Finding a Surp and not knowing what it was. Was going to sac the chest when I realized I was running out of room at the bank. Luckily, had Darrington over to help look at what I had, and I just remember his eyes going O.O and him saying, "You're WHAT level again? and you found that chest on a mob? Yea, was a great moment >.>

2. Becoming an established crafter/enchanter. I hated depending on people so much.

I also agree with Roje a great moment when the idiot deleted because someone told him to type delete IAMSURE; and then him beging to get his character back. BTW Roje that was Mario and I have seen him around a few times after that occurance.

Another great moment was when I epiced my third tri-av character.

My greatest moment on DL is when getting a Bala out of a chest with my level 12 character Thriss. She had 10 luck and got so luckly that she got a Bala.

Blackraven. No debate. No doubt.

The day...the music...died. And they were singing "Bye Bye miss America Pie....well anyways. My best moment changed. It was when i got my first million. I was in tsq and i saw a pile of gold, I took it and it turned out to be 600k. I FREAKED out. 5 mintues later i was in tsq and i found another pile of 600k. That made my day. but that was a long time ago and now i dont even have 10k....
