Post subject:  MAJOR BUG: SHOVE - lost everything cause of it.
Syntax: shove <character> <direction>

Deadly characters can shove other deadly characters in the direction
specified if the victim is standing up.

Characters who have been in a safe room for longer than 30 seconds
will be unable to be shoved or dragged out of that room until they
either leave of their own choice or they shove/drag another player.

You cannot shove a character into a death trap.


I just lost everything on my main char.. I had been standing in a saferoom longer then 30 seconds ( i feel asleep at computer ) and someoen shoved me and pked me.. then reboot came today and everything in my corpse is gone.. I'm naked..

And its cause of shove, i've lost everything I thought I was safe even if I fell asleep at the computer. It works even if you have been there 30 seconds.

And why the hell do you kill me in a peace room encirith? And I was idle, your 1000 levels above me. You used your alt nightshade to kill me.

In regards to a reminbursement, which you should be seeking; publicly announcing a reimbursement request will cause in its denail.

We have a "bug" command on DL and file for reimbursement. That's all you can do.

I don't see why this should be a thread, or be in the general forum.

It's pvp, you fell asleep in all honesty that was your own fault. If you didnt notice pvps have no safe rooms unless you lock yourself inside fo a building. That and your situation has happened to many other players, and if i recall correctly, none of them were reimbursed.

Nice quote, to bad its wrong server thats unruly i was on main port.. I have never asked for reinbursement, and I wont. I'm just flaming at things not working the way they could.. And for those who think it would be so obvious that PVP was allowed in safe rooms I tested it before i stood there.

I couldn't PVP normal players, or mobs so i thought it was completly safe. I even asked players before if it was safe, but apperently?? not for pvp players, it dont make sence considering the helpfile of shove.... So for those that say its so damn obvious go and screw yourself and this is my official thread of ranting.

Gnawer, as was written further up in the thread, there is no such thing as a safe room for pvp unless you're in a citadel or other home behind a locked door that another pvp doesn't have access to.

Yeah Roje, but a noob PVP wouldn't know that the helpfile was wrong. the helpfile should be altered or removed.

First off:

I = Encirith/Nightshade

1. TSQ is not a saferoom for PVPs

2. I did not initially intend to Pk you

3. You were spammy and someone there suggested I do it

4. I then shoved you east planning on resurrecting you

5. You are a void.... >_>

6. I beeped the **** and obviously you did'nt respond

7. It is hardly my fault if you lost your eq do to your own lack of
understanding of the rules and decided to bot at TSQ :roll:

You blame shove command for:

1. you being a pvp character (which makes you legal!)

2. going "afk" and getting killed in one of the most popular non-pk restricted area

3. not having sufficient volume for beeps to get your attention or being a very heavy sleeper (or both)

4. not typing "log" before falling asleep

It doesnt say it anywhere to my knowledge, but try to attack someone while logged on a peacie, some message pops up and says you cant attack here or something.

yeah, but that doesn't mean it's a safe room :P There's no definition or list of safe room(s), so it was a bad assumption to think that TSQ was a saferoom at all.

That'd be an incorrect assumption that resulted in his death and loss of his equipment.. I'm sure he'll be more careful next time
